Agentic AI is now capable of acting recursively across extended time horizons while interacting and orchestrating with external systems. This creates structural pressures to keep humans meaningfully in control. This work reviews the EU regulatory framework for human oversight, identifies the specific ways in which it erodes, and explores feasible implementation solutions.
